Silver Tree Christmas Card
Design By Briar Jensen

Silver and black cardstock and embossing make this card look classy. Xyron adds the professional touch!

Materials:

- Xyron® machine (500. 510, 850, 900, or 1200)
- Xyron Permanent Adhesive cartridge
- Black (matt) and shiny silver metallic cardstock
- Silver and clear embossing powder
- Embossing tool
- Squiggle Christmas Tree Stamp

1. Use black cardstock to create a card. The front flap of the card is 1/4" shorter than the bottom (dimensions of the bottom flap: 41/4" x 53/4"). This will allow the embossed edge to be visible.
2. Cut a 1/4" x 53/4" strip out of black cardstock. Run it through the Xyron machine with Permanent Adhesive. Remove the clear mask, but leave the white paper liner on and trim it to 1/2" larger than the strip. Run through the Xyron again to apply the adhesive on the opposite side and create a double-sticky strip.
3. Lay the double-sticky strip at the edge of the extra flap on the bottom. Cover with silver embossing powder and emboss with the embossing tool.
4. Cut a rectangle of black card just large enough for stamp (13/4" x 23/4"). Stamp with Squiggle Christmas Tree using clear embossing stamp pad. Cover with silver embossing powder and emboss with the embossing tool.
5. Cut a slightly larger rectangle in shiny silver metallic cardstock(25/8" x 37/8"). Run it through the Xyron Permanent Adhesive along with the stamped tree. Center the layers on the card as pictured.
